I shoot a combination of analog and digital for family sessions, and rely solely on natural light. Because of this, it is important that the space/location we choose offer an abundance of light.
If shooting indoors, I recommend a timeframe between 10am and 2pm in order to make the most of the natural light.
If shooting outdoors, I recommend sunrise hours or sunset hours, which provide for a softer light. The timing would depend on the location we choose, day the shoot is to take place, and whether or not you are an early riser.
Since film is mailed to a lab located in the United States, this requires approximately two weeks for mailing, and then approximately two weeks for post process (finalizing) of images once I receive them back from the lab.
The aim is to have all final images returned to you within four to six weeks.
